Conservative Dentistry is responsible for identifying and promptly treating the teeth affected by decay, to preserve them optimally.
Prevention is always the best treatment, but if there are cavities, it is necessary to treat them, removing the affected tissue and replacing it with a filling.

The use of composite materials allows realizing fillings of the same color of the tooth, obtaining restorations virtually invisible, which restore form and function. These therapies if not performed in a workmanlike manner may be subject to changes over time and curious recurrance.
To ensure long-term result, it is of extreme importance to use of the “rubber dam”: a sheet of plastic material, which isolates the tooth. The materials used are in fact extremely sensitive to the presence of water or moisture.
